Salies de Béarn is locat­ed just 2km from Domaine d’Esperbasque. 

Salies de Béarn is a typ­i­cal French town with a rich his­to­ry, she invites us to dis­cov­er her­self and the sur­round­ing area. 

The town, also called ​“Salt City”, is known for the salt source, to which she owes her cre­ation and accord­ing to res­i­dents, the source improves health and relaxation. 

The salt has con­tributed over the cen­turies to the growth and rev­enue of its inhabitants. 

At the end of the 18th cen­tu­ry there was a spa built, which became very famous. 

Nowa­days we can use that spa and salt­wa­ter pool, vis­it the salt muse­um, play golf (18 holes), vis­it the Casi­no, the cin­e­ma or con­fer­ence cen­ter, charm­ing shops and cafes. Salies can be very eas­i­ly reached from the camp­site on foot (20 — 30min).
