There are var­i­ous activ­i­ties orga­nized at the camp­site, every day there is some­thing to do!

The area sur­round­ing Domaine d’Es­per­basque lends itself to horse­back rid­ing, which is orga­nized from the camp­site, beau­ti­ful rides with guid­ance. Every night there is a trail of two hours in the hilly region. These rides are for expe­ri­enced rid­ers. After the begin­ners class­es, there is…

Of course you can swim in the pool at the camp­site, but every­one has heard about the high waves of the Atlantic coast!

And what about the fresh waters of the near­by rivers? (called ​‘gaves’)

There are more than 5,000 km of hik­ing trails cross­ing the Pyre­nees-Atlan­tiques. Walk­ing is a pleas­ant way to dis­cov­er the sur­round­ings of Domaine d’Esperbasque.

The Pyre­nees-Atlan­tiques is one of the coun­ties that is annu­al­ly vis­it­ed by the ​‘Tour de France’. From the beau­ti­ful hilly envi­ron­ment of the Béarn and the Basque Coun­try to the high peaks and pass­es of the Pyrenees.

For those who want to stay fit dur­ing the hol­i­days we have out­lined some jog­ging routes.

Atlantic salmon, sea trout and wild brown trout is the main trig­ger of sport fish­ing in the area. They also fish shad, pike, large­mouth bass, carp and perch.
